Created in 1997 by Silvia Venturini Fendi, daughter of the founders, the Baguette is a small bag with a handle, carried under the arm (hence its name, to be carried under the arm like a loaf of French bread). This iconic style didn't become a household name until Karl Lagerfeld added his double 'F'. With the Baguette, Fendi surpassed all imaginable expectations.
